This Pinot Gris is harvested quite ripe in order to gain rich flavours and texture. The bunches are gently destemmed without crushing. The palate is layered and fresh with crunchy pear and lemon juice. It has citrusy tangy acidity with mineral aspect giving this vibrant wine line and length.
Appearance: Pale straw, quartz edges
Aroma: Pear, with a hint of spice
Palate: A fresh lively palate of crunchy pear and lemon complimented by floral and peach notes. A long clean backbone of bright cool climate acidity and minerality gives elegance and length.
Food Match: White fleshed fish, molluscs, pork belly, fresh curd goats cheese
Cellaring: 3-5 years with good cellaring, however drinks extremely well young and fresh
